Acceptance

By downloading or using Foldesk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.

Trial and licenses

• Free trial. Every installation includes a full-featured 30-day free trial, for personal or commercial work, no account required. After the trial ends the app switches to read-only mode until a license is redeemed.
• Permanent licenses. A one-time purchase provides a redemption code that unlocks permanent use: the 1.x license covers every release through version 1.x, and the Lifetime license covers all future versions. A code may be activated on any number of computers you personally own and use; sharing or reselling codes is not permitted, and abused codes may be revoked.
• Features may change, be added, or be removed between releases.

License

Foldesk is licensed to you, not sold. You may install it on machines you control. You may not redistribute modified builds of the app, sell it, or misrepresent its origin.

Your files, your responsibility

Foldesk is built with strong safety mechanisms — a staging area for deleted files and undo for every operation — but no software is a substitute for backups. You remain responsible for maintaining backups of important data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foldesk is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for data loss or other damages arising from its use.

Updates

The app checks for updates and may download and install them automatically. You can always download the latest version manually from foldesk.app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
